Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join the Lower Key Stage 2 team starting in January 2025. The successful candidate will support the classroom teacher in delivering engaging lessons and provide additional support to students to enhance their learning experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and delivery of lesson plans and learning activities.
Provide one-on-one and small group support to students.
Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
Support the implementation of individualised education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
Foster social and emotional development through positive interactions and activities.
Communicate effectively with teachers, students, and parents.
Qualifications and Experience:
Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred.
Relevant qualifications in education or childcare are a plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting student's learning and development.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
