Salary: £35,000 - £50,000
OTE: £80,000 - £100,000
Location: Hybrid working – Offices based Ashford, Kent

Job summary
We are looking for a talented recruitment consultant to build a new desk within our engineering recruitment business. This is a unique opportunity to shape and grow your own division, leveraging your experience in your field of expertise within our established business and support team.
You will be responsible for building relationships with new and existing clients, identifying top-tier talent, and driving new business growth opportunities. This role is ideal for someone with a proven track record in recruitment who is eager to grow a new business sector within a dynamic and supportive environment, offering the latest technology to help you flourish.

Role Requirements
* Proven experience: A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in recruitment, with a demonstrable track record of success in revenue generation within a Senior or Principal consultant role.
* Niche recruitment expertise: In-depth knowledge and experience within a specific industry or business area, with the ability to understand and target trends within that market.
* Business development: Proven track record of generating new business leads and identifying market opportunities to expand our client base.
* Candidate sourcing: Experience in identifying, engaging and placing quality candidates. *Previous experience using Linked In Recruiter and Bullhorn will be a distinct advantage.
* Leadership: Ability to mentor junior consultants as your sector desk grows, providing guidance and support.
* Goals: Strong focus on achieving and exceeding targets and KPI’s with a result driven mindset.
* Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly to clients and candidates.
* Social Media presence: Ability to engage with your niche audience using a variety of content.
