Role Overview: To provide assistance in service delivery including the in the provision of registration services to the public Key Responsibilities: Use a range of computer packages inputting data accurately onto databases and spreadsheets. Account for cash transactions/ daily reconciliation of certificates and sales transactions. To provide a high standard of customer care and ensure that all information is kept secure and confidentiality is maintained at all times. Register births, deaths, marriages, civil partnerships as per legal requirements by direct personal questioning and accurately recording this in both written and electronic records Key Requirements: To succeed in this role, you will need as a minimum: Ability to use IT applications in relation to the requirements of the post including excel, Microsoft word,outlook and service specific databases Good communication and interpersonal skills are required to assist service users during significant life events. Demonstrate Flexibility and good organisational skills to be able to manage competing demands Be able to work in a high-pressure environment where working as part of a team is important for the successful delivery of quality registration services. Ability to deliver ceremonies in front of large audiences, demonstrating professionalism and warmth throughout customer interactions.
