Science Teacher (Long Term Supply) Location: Rural East Sussex Job Type: Full-time, Temporary (April until the end of the academic year) Salary: Paid to scale We are seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join a co-educational Independent school, set in a beautiful 18th-century manor house in the Sussex countryside. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of students primarily with Autism and/or Dyslexia. Day-to-day of the role: Teach Science to KS3 & KS4 students with ASD and/or Dyslexia. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that accommodate the specific learning needs of students. Assess and record students' progress and provide grades and feedback. Maintain a stimulating and supportive learning environment. Collaborate with other teaching staff to enhance teaching practices and learning experiences. Participate in school meetings and events. Required Skills & Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential. Recent experience teaching the Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 Science curriculum. Previous experience teaching children with ASD and/or Dyslexia. Strong understanding of the challenges faced by students with learning differences. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
