Location: Bedford College – Cauldwell Street Campus

About the role:
We are currently seeking a Planning and Insights Executive to join our Marketing department at The Bedford College group .
As a Planning and Insights Executive, you play an important role in the success of our students through:
1. Supporting the Group Head of Planning and Insight in delivering high-quality data analysis, customer feedback insights, and business planning activities.
2. Ensuring that all customer feedback, data analysis, and business planning targets remain up to date and contribute to achieving the department’s strategic aims.
3. Providing key insights to drive improvements and support decision-making across the Group.
4. Supporting the collection, analysis, and reporting of customer feedback, ensuring data is regularly updated and actionable insights are provided.
5. Assisting in the management and delivery of the Group’s complaints handling service, ensuring compliance with policy and regulatory requirements.
6. Contributing to the ongoing review and refinement of customer feedback processes to improve service quality and student experience.
7. Working with key departments to analyse student, customer, and stakeholder feedback, providing insights to enhance decision-making and operational improvements.
8. Assisting in producing reports and dashboards using software such as Power BI to track trends and performance against targets.
9. Working collaboratively with colleagues across the Planning and Insight team to ensure consistency and accuracy in data reporting and analysis.
10. Maintaining accurate records and documentation to support effective planning and reporting processes.
11. Contributing to presentations and reports for senior leaders, committees, and other stakeholders.
12. Attending meetings, training, and development activities as required.
13. Supporting Group-wide initiatives, including recruitment events, and exam invigilation as needed.
14. Promoting and role-modelling professional behaviour and adherence to Group values, policies, and procedures.
15. Being responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and for raising any concerns in line with BCG policy and procedure

18. Participating proactively in training & development including any required qualification development
About you:
19. Have evidence of continuing professional development (CPD).
20. Have GCSE Maths and English (grades A to C) or equivalent.
21. Have experience working with data analysis and reporting to generate insights.
22. Have experience in collecting and analysing customer, student, or stakeholder feedback.
23. Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
24. Possess the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
25. Can show proficiency in Excel
26. Possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
27. Possess the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
28. Have a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
29. Possess the ability to travel to all campus locations.
30. Have a flexible approach to working hours in line with business needs.
