As a Key Account Manager Amazon you will play a crucial role within the UK sales team. You will be responsible for driving the performance and sales of our product portfolio on Amazon, focusing on optimizing Amazon’s algorithms, managing trade execution, and delivering results based on key eCommerce metrics.
The KAM Amazon role is cross functional, liaising with internal teams to influence and lead the overall account strategies. You will be expected to identify and address opportunities for growth, profit, merchandising, and promotion.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Specific:
* Own the Amazon account and be responsible for the day-to-day management and performance.
* Develop and execute a tailored Amazon strategy to drive sales growth, ensuring alignment with broader business goals and objectives.
* Utilise deep knowledge of Amazon’s algorithms to improve search rankings, keyword relevance, product listings, and conversion rates.
* Monitor, analyse, and report on Amazon-specific KPIs, using data to make informed decisions and improve performance.
Cross departmental collaboration:
* Work closely with marketing dept, to ensure that product listings (titles, descriptions, images, A+ content, enhanced brand content) are optimised for search and conversions.
* Digital Marketing manager and agency support, make recommendation for the Amazon advertising strategy using, sponsored products, sponsored brands, and display ads to drive traffic and conversion.
* Working with supply chain team, to ensure optimal inventory levels, forecasting demand, and preventing OOS or over stocks.
Required Skills:
* Amazon account management experience is essential
* Proficient knowledge and use of Excel
* A strong proven competence in managing Amazon account and Vendor Central.
* Proficiency in using Amazon-specific analytics tools
* Ability to take initiative and proactively identify issues and recommend solutions
* Lead and develop alternative strategies with evidence-based approach to test and learn
* Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams
