Description The Amazon Benefits Employee Engagement team is dedicated to enabling Amazon's 1.5 million global employees to discover, understand, and fully leverage the comprehensive suite of benefits available to them and their families. To deliver on this mission, we're seeking a talented marketing communications professional to join the International Communications team. In this role, you will lead benefits communication for Canada and spearhead wellness campaigns for the international region. You will work closely with benefits program owners to set annual priorities and execute a strategic communications plan that provides our corporate and operations employees in Canada with the information they need to maximize their benefits. This includes owning end-to-end project management, development, production, publishing, and distribution of digital and print communications across internal channels. Importantly, you will navigate Amazon's internal communications ecosystem to align messaging and channel strategy, ensure consistent communications, and spot opportunities to amplify positive messages. The ideal candidate is an excellent writer and editor with a passion for advancing health and wellness among employees, their families, and local communities. They possess curiosity for diving deep into unfamiliar or complex topics, and talent for transforming technical details into straightforward, approachable communications. They believe no detail is too small, upholding the same high standards when communicating with employees as with customers. As a collaborative problem-solver, they can make things happen in complex, dynamic, and ambiguous environments. The successful candidate will also have curiosity for experimenting with AI to scale communications across diverse international markets. This is an individual contributor role reporting to the International Benefits Communications Leader. You'll form part of the international leadership team which will provide added opportunities to contribute to and own special projects that elevate the overall impact of the team. Key job responsibilities - Develop and execute communication strategies and brand narratives that drive Amazonians to understand and engage with their benefits. - Manage an annual communications editorial calendar that aligns with key benefits initiatives and priorities in Canada (i.e., enrollment windows) and global benefits campaigns. - Write crisp, compelling copy to raise the bar on user-friendly communications that are easy for employees to consume and understand. - Define multi-touch marcomm campaigns that bring wellness narratives to life and deliver results against company objectives. - Manage end-to-end campaign execution; analyze business needs, develop content and channel strategies, create and manage a project plan, and set up mechanisms to ensure programs are on track. - Define campaign goals and success metrics; provide program updates, recommendations, and ad-hoc reporting to leadership. - Actively build relationships across Amazon to deliver on your roadmap and incorporate messaging into larger communications initiatives and business messages. - Serve as the international lead managing translation, localization, and distribution of communications for global rollouts. - Partner with external agencies, as needed, to create and execute campaign tactics. - Contribute to and own wider strategic initiatives on the team. Basic Qualifications - 5 years of developing and managing acquisition marketing or channel programs experience - 5 years' experience in creative production, including creative strategy, creative work session facilitation, brief writing, and agency management. - 10 years' professional experience in brand marketing, campaign marketing, or communications. Preferred Qualifications - Speaking, writing, and reading fluency in French. - Health, wellness, or employer brand marketing experience. - Experience leading communications programs across a range of countries, cultures, and business units. - Experience using artificial intelligence for writing and editing. - Experience developing creative, effective approaches to reaching a diverse, remote, and mobile workforce. - Strong organizational skills and proven program management covering multiple projects and diverse goals. - Experience driving direction and alignment across multiple stakeholders in a highly cross-functional organization. - Ability to easily transition from high-level strategic thinking to detailed execution. - Experience working closely with and influencing senior leaders. - Ability to exercise high judgment, particularly in narrow timeframes. - Work samples demonstrating the brand work or campaigns you've delivered. - Experience with one or more of the following is a plus but not required: 1) developing and editing basic HTML templates, 2) Tableau, QuickSight, or similar data visualization tool, 3) Adobe design programs including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, 4) email marketing platforms (Pardot, Marketo, etc).
