Head of Delivery – Education and Examinations
Location: Hybrid working, two days a week in the office in Edinburgh
Salary: Circa GBP70,000 per annum

The Head of Delivery – Education and Examinations is a pivotal role within the Examinations and Education Directorate, focused on delivering top–tier educational and assessment services to RCSEd members and the medical community at large. This directorate aims to ensure that its educational and assessment programmes are effective, supporting professional growth and maintaining high standards across the healthcare field.
As Head of Delivery – Education and Examinations, you will lead the education and examinations team, driving the development and execution of strategic plans to deliver high–quality educational offerings. Primary responsibilities include overseeing the team's budget, ensuring effective resource utilisation, and taking accountability for the timely delivery of educational programmes and examinations.
As part of the directorate's leadership team, you will play a significant role in shaping and executing the business plan, ensuring the directorate's strategy is effectively implemented. You will also work to embed the organisation's core values and behaviours within your teams.
We seek an accomplished leader with experience managing a complex delivery function and adept at engaging diverse stakeholders. Candidates will bring a strong track record of leadership in an educational setting, coupled with demonstrable experience of budget management. Key attributes include the ability to inspire and lead teams, cultivate a high–performance culture, and promote an environment of inclusivity and customer focus.
