Start date: 01 April 2025 – 18 month fixed term contract Shift pattern: From 1st April to 30 June 2025, you will be working Tuesday to Thursday, 6am – 6pm. From 1st July 2025, we will move to a Double Day shift pattern – Monday to Friday, 6am – 2pm or 2pm 10pm (alternated weekly). Starting salary: £28,379 per annum, rising to £29,039 on successful completion of 3-month probation. Moving to £35,639 when working Double Day shift. Plus highly competitive overtime payments. About the role: The MMO works within the stores/safes which includes inputting into the inventory management systems including receipt, storage and distribution of material. The MMO is responsible for controlling the materials and products used by production to ensure customer deliveries on time and in full, every time. Responsible for what goes into the safe, checking cage cards and ensuring locks are on cages. Responsible for preparing work within the safes for the next day. Responsible for checking correct cages are going to the correct machines, in the correct order. Responsible for ensuring cages are stored and moved safely. Ensure compliance with regulatory, legal and group security requirements. Aid in the cycle counts which are to be carried out at least twice a year on each product. Responsible for the safe keys, opening the safes on time, and ensuring dual control at all times. Aid the Senior Material Management Operative in their duties. Working towards key performance metrics. Measure actual performance against goals on regular basis. Adhere to policies or procedures for material movement, storage, receipt and customer delivery activities. Support the behaviour of working as one De La Rue, sharing best practice and collaborating with colleagues outside of own sphere of business. The above list is not exhaustive.
