We are recruiting for an Internal Sales Engineer based at AVK Syddal in Hyde to have a technical understanding of products and be the point of contact to convert quotations for new and existing customers across the range of products at AVK UK.
Key responsibilities of the Internal Sales Engineer include:
- Achieve budgets and objectives while managing customer communications, pricing, lead times, and delivery dates.
- Prepare and manage product quotations, ensuring adherence to ISO procedures, and collaborate with manufacturing to meet customer requirements.
- Maintain an accurate CRM system with up-to-date contacts, opportunities, and reports, while supporting external sales teams.
- Monitor quote conversion success, provide MI reports, and ensure consistent service excellence across service offers.
The ideal Internal Sales Engineer will have:
- Excellent communication skills along with a drive to work in a role that requires self-drive and autonomy
- The ability to think outside the box and to develop a technical understanding of the products
- Previous sales experience (internal sales preferential)
