Reporting to the Head of Staff Wellbeing and Counselling, we are looking to recruit a positive, proactive individual with a background in supporting and delivering tailored staff support and wellbeing programmes.
You will keen to play an active part and be responsible for developing, overseeing and delivering the Staff Health and Wellbeing programmes, being part of the wider multi-disciplinary team meetings and supporting staff in ensuring that programmes are delivered.
To support the development and delivery of the Trust’s Health and Wellbeing framework, with a specific focus on improving the health and wellbeing of staff through Health and Wellbeing programmes and interventions.
Support the delivery of Health and Wellbeing activities, providing advice and guidance and ensuring that the Trust follows current best practice in terms of Health and Wellbeing programmes.
The role will involve promoting the involvement of the workforce in the development and evaluation of wellbeing and health improvement activities. Measuring, evaluating and understanding the effectiveness of activities by supporting detailed workplace wellbeing audits and surveys, analysing the results and developing needs-specific services.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic Wellbeing Team at Nottinghamshire Healthcare Trust.
The post holder will work within the Health and Wellbeing service, which is a multi-professional team, to deliver a wide range of health and wellbeing services.
The post holder will work with the Head of Staff Wellbeing and Counselling to support staff’s Health and Wellbeing needs. To develop, deliver and establish accessible health and wellbeing programmes/initiatives across Nottinghamshire Healthcare Trust. The post-holder will develop and support the operational management of the staff wellbeing offer, with main duties including:
• Design and deliver the implementation of the Trusts wellbeing ambitions, including coordination of services against set KPIs
• Support the Wellbeing Champion and Mental Health First Aider networks, supporting colleagues with access to literature, guidance and information owing to the Wellbeing services across the Trust.
• Develop and deliver and promote training, workshops and insight sessions to managers and employees to raise the profile of the Wellbeing team and its services
• Create of trust wide communications, posters, social media updates. Intranet and website development
• Design and deliver events to support staff wellbeing, including supporting at roadshows and events across sites.
• Produce periodic newsletters and information materials to inform and engage colleagues across the trust
• Be a role model for health and wellbeing in the workplace, encouraging positive lifestyle choices and being a source of information and support for colleagues
• Develop and deliver regular Health and Wellbeing events and support the implementation of evidence-based interventions based on the results of such events
• Signpost colleagues to appropriate support services and assist colleagues in accessing appropriate interventions both internally and externally
• Responsible for effective data inputting and report creation.
• Provide support for the Head of Wellbeing as and when required
• Work closely and collaboratively with Staff Counselling Services and Occupational Health colleagues
• You will report on the effectiveness of the services provided and ensure improvements are implemented and evidence compliance with appropriate guidelines.
• You will at times be expected to work on your own, using your own initiative within the guidelines set by Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.
• Line management of the Health and Wellbeing Administrator
Please note that this post does not meet the pay level required for a Skilled worker visa.
Successful applicants with no prior NHS experience would normally be placed at the bottom of the band in line with Agenda for Change. This salary is below the minimum salary required for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker / Health & Care visa. In these circumstances the Trust would not, therefore, be able to sponsor for a Skilled Worker / Health & Care visa.
