We are seeking a talented Outbound Lead Generation Team Leader to join our dynamic sales team within the commercial insurance industry based in Witham. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, strong leadership skills, and delivering operational excellence whilst fostering a continuous improvement culture. This role will be pivotal in driving our outbound lead generation efforts, contributing to the overall growth of our business.
We will count on you to:
* Lead and manage the outbound lead generation team, providing guidance, support, and motivation to achieve sales targets and KPIs.
* Develop and implement effective outbound lead generation strategies to identify and engage potential clients in the commercial insurance sector.
* Monitor team performance, analyse metrics, and provide regular reports to senior management on lead generation activities and outcomes.
* Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align lead generation efforts with overall business objectives and campaigns.
* Ensure compliance with FCA regulations and other relevant industry standards in all lead generation activities.
* Train and mentor team members on best practices for outbound sales techniques, product knowledge, and regulatory compliance.
* Foster a positive team culture that encourages collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
* Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to inform lead generation strategies.
What you need to have:
* Comparable sales leadership experience, with a focus on outbound lead generation or business development.
* Familiarity with FCA regulations and other relevant compliance frameworks within financial services.
* A passion for making a difference to the working lives, skills and success of colleagues
* An understanding of the commercial insurance industry and market dynamics.
* Ability to remain calm under pressure and be able to work flexibly when required
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple issues/ challenges simultaneously
* Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing sales team.
