Job Summary
Claimont Health have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Complex Care Healthcare Assistant / Support Worker. This role will be based in the community supporting our Client who is an adult who has Motor Neurone Disease and complex health needs requiring high level of care and support at home.

If yes, we would love to hear from you. We are looking for individuals to join our team either on a Full-time or 0-Hour contractual basis.
You will need to have a proven track record of complex care experience and have supported clients with:
1. MND (Motor Neurone Disease)
2. NIV (Non-invasive ventilation)
3. Suctioning and cough assist
4. Medication Management
This is a 2-1 package of care during the day and 1-1 at night. Opportunities for day and night shifts are available.
You must hold a UK driving license and have access to a car.
Main Duties
We are looking for high quality, dynamic and experienced Healthcare Assistants / Support Workers who have experience working with people with Motor Neuron Disease and who are able to provide home care.
You Must Have/be:
1. A car driver with access to a car.
2. 1 year or more experience as a Complex Care Support Worker working with people with MND.
3. Flexibility, maturity, independence and the very highest professional standards.
4. Commitment to delivering client-specific care.
5. Adaptable approach to support client and family members.
6. Ability to maintain clear professional boundaries within a home setting.

What You Can Expect From Us In Return:
Reporting to our Complex Care Lead Nurse, the successful candidate will benefit from the support of both the clinical and operations teams. Competitive rates £15 per hour. Bank, Weekdays, Weekends.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
1. 1 year or more experience as a Healthcare Assistant with complex care experience.
2. NVQ Level 3 related subjects.
3. NVQ Level 4 related subjects.
4. Nursery nurse qualifications or similar.
5. Diploma in relevant health/social subject.
6. Commitment to delivering client-specific care.
7. Adaptable and professional approach to support client and family members.
