Job Title: WTG Commissioning Client Representative
Location: Offshore (2 weeks on / 2 weeks off, mobilise from Hartlepool)
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 6 months with potential extension
Rates: 700 daily rate inside IR35 via umbrella

About the Role:
Are you passionate about renewable energy and have a strong background in Offshore Wind? SSE is looking for dedicated WTG Commissioning Client Representatives to join our team. In this role, you will support the offshore commissioning of the WTG at the pre-assembly yards as part of our client's portfolio of project assets.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist and support site activities to ensure safe, full, and effective use of reporting documentation in accordance with company and/or client policies and procedures.
2. Attend site locations to support activities ensuring commissioning procedures are followed, completed, signed, and verified in conjunction with project procedures and documentation.
3. Interface with contractors and joint venture partners on applicable commissioning scopes offshore.
About You:
1. Experience working within an electrical engineering environment on low voltage and high voltage plant/equipment such as HV cables, 66kV switchgear, and systems within the WTG.
2. Strong knowledge and understanding of offshore wind farm construction, commissioning, and/or operations in the UK or a similar industrial sector. Knowledge of wind turbine technology is essential.
3. Ability to thrive on commissioning activities and managing the associated tasks.
Qualifications & Requirements:
1. Eligibility to work in the UK.
2. Full GWOS.
3. Medical & Chester Step.
4. A relevant technical education or apprenticeship, preferably within electrical engineering or similar experience.
