We are looking for people with great communication skills, who are real team players and able to support and develop multi professional colleagues. You will have a passion for the client group, ensuring that people with co-occurring needs can access both substance misuse and mental health services when they need to. To this end you will contribute alongside senior psychological therapists in influencing the way in which the dual diagnosis policy is implemented across services. You will be supported in your role by a senior psychological therapist and principal psychologist/psychological therapist. This role is managed within the community mental health service, and you willbe part of a wider family of psychological professionals with access to training and supervision opportunities within Coventry and Warwickshire partnership trust. The role is a permanent opportunity. However the substance misuse project is reviewed every 12 months, with contract renewal subject to positive evaluation. Should the contract not be renewed with the community provider, you will be able to use your skills and expertise within our mental health services in CWPT.
