Service Desk Engineer - South Yorkshire - £28 - 30K
An established client of ours in the Technology sector is looking for an IT Technician to join their internal IT department on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing first-class IT helpdesk support to our customers, as well as assisting and leading a variety of internal and client projects.
This is an office-based role in their South Yorkshire office.
Roles & Responsibilities:
* Identifying and troubleshooting hardware & software issues both remotely and in person.
* Taking ownership of user problems and being proactive when dealing with user issues.
* Managing Microsoft Office applications.
* Working with Windows Servers and Windows 10/11.
* Installing and configuring computer hardware, operating systems, and applications.
* Using automation and ensuring internal documentation is maintained.
* Providing administrative support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports.
* Identifying and suggesting process improvements and new ways of working, as well as recommending changes to working practices for the benefit of all.
* Working with Intune and Active Directory.
