Role Overview
As the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for creating and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth and enhance market share for our brands. This role requires a proactive and results-oriented individual with excellent leadership skills to lead sales initiatives across multiple channels, establish strong client relationships, and support our business development objectives. You will collaborate closely with marketing, operations, and senior leaders to deliver on sales targets while ensuring alignment with our core values and customer-centric approach.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy and Planning:
* Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets across all brands
* Analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and refine sales strategies
* Create tailored sales plans for each brand, ensuring alignment with their unique value propositions and business objectives
* Set achievable yet ambitious sales targets and KPIs for the team, monitoring progress and ensuring accountability
Team Leadership and Management:
* Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing business development team, fostering a culture of motivation, collaboration, and achievement
* Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to sales staff, ensuring skill development and adherence to best practices
* Conduct regular performance evaluations, offering constructive feedback and setting goals for improvement
* Facilitate team meetings to review performance, share insights, and celebrate successes
Lead Generation and Conversion:
* Oversee the generation and management of a robust sales pipeline, leveraging both inbound and outbound strategies
* Develop initiatives to increase referrals and partnerships with healthcare providers, local businesses, and community organisations
* Collaborate with the marketing team to optimise lead generation campaigns
* Monitor lead conversion rates, identify bottlenecks in the sales funnel, and implement strategies to improve efficiency
Client Relationship Management:
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders to foster long-term loyalty and trust
* Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction
* Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell services across our brand portfolio
* Gather feedback from clients to understand their evolving needs and inform service improvements
Collaboration with Internal Teams:
* Work closely with the marketing team to align campaigns with sales objectives and target audiences
* Partner with operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery for new clients
* Collaborate with senior leaders to provide regular updates on sales performance, market insights, and strategic recommendations
Data Analysis and Reporting:
* Utilise CRM tools to track and analyse sales data, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting
* Prepare detailed reports on sales performance, pipeline health, and client trends for senior management
* Use data insights to refine sales strategies, identify new opportunities, and mitigate risks
* Regularly review and update sales processes to align with business needs and market conditions
* Market Expansion and Business Development
* Identify and pursue opportunities to expand the company’s reach into new markets or regions
* Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote our brands
* Develop strategic partnerships to enhance service offerings and drive revenue growth
Qualifications and Experience
* Degree in Sales, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
* A minimum of 5+ years of sales management experience, preferably within the healthcare, home care, or service sectors
* Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a competitive environment
* Experience managing and growing sales teams across multiple brands or regions
* Strong knowledge of sales methodologies, CRM tools, and data analytics platforms
* Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
* Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders, including clients, partners, and internal teams
