Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and creative Interior Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for transforming spaces and a keen eye for detail. As an Interior Designer, you will be responsible for conceptualising and executing design projects that meet client needs while adhering to budgetary constraints and timelines. Your expertise in various design software and project management will be essential in delivering high-quality results.
Responsibilities
1. Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, requirements, and preferences for interior spaces.
2. Develop design concepts, mood boards, and presentations to communicate ideas effectively.
3. Utilise software such as Sketchup, 3ds Max, AutoCAD, Rhinoceros 3D, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite to create detailed designs and layouts.
4. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion within budget.
5. Conduct site visits to assess spaces and gather necessary measurements.
6. Source materials, furnishings, and decor that align with the design vision.
7. Liaise with contractors and vendors to ensure the successful execution of designs.
8. Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to provide innovative solutions.
Qualifications
1. Proven experience as an Interior Designer or similar role.
2. Proficiency in design software including Houzz, CAD, Sketchup, 3ds Max, AutoCAD, Rhinoceros 3D, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite.
3. Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
4. Excellent communication skills to articulate design concepts clearly to clients and team members.
5. A keen eye for aesthetics and details in design.
6. Relevant degree or certification in Interior Design or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
7. A portfolio showcasing previous work is highly desirable.
