We are seeking a Maintenance Team Leader to join a dynamic team at our client's site. The client is a leader in renewable energy, based on the West Coast of Scotland. This pivotal role comes with overall accountability for ensuring the Maintenance Team meets compliance requirements while driving data-led decision-making and operational excellence.
Your Role:
1. Support the Site Leader in budget setting and defining site KPIs.
2. Take day-to-day ownership of monitoring KPIs, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
3. Lead efforts to meet or exceed budget, maintenance, and process targets.
4. Analyse data trends to enhance operations and foster a data-driven culture.
5. Drive continuous improvement through proactive problem-solving and team leadership.
Key Skills and Attributes:
Essential:
1. Experience with Permit to Work systems.
2. Exceptional mathematical, communication, and IT skills (especially Excel).
3. Integrity, honesty, and attention to detail.
4. Strong organizational, planning, and analytical abilities.
5. Proven capability to lead a team and work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
1. Experience in Anaerobic Digestion or similar operations.
2. Involvement in site commissioning or setting up new sites.
3. Auditing experience and relevant safety qualifications (e.g., IOSH).
4. Six Sigma or similar process-related training.
Qualifications:
Essential:
1. HND in engineering or equivalent experience.
2. Strong academic background in Mathematics and a science-related subject.
3. Full UK Driving License (manual & automatic) and access to your own vehicle.
Preferred:
1. Additional safety or process-related certifications.
