Purpose of the Job
To carry out planned preventative maintenance, reactive and breakdown works across all mechanical and electrical systems within the Client facility at Taunton, ensuring all year uptime across essential services.
Key Responsibilities
1. Ensure that routine maintenance is carried out to all mechanical and electrical plant, equipment, and systems in accordance with task schedules and asset lists.
2. Complete all reactive tasks throughout the building, being proactive in highlighting areas for improvement.
3. Swiftly remedy electrical plant faults and defects to maintain all year uptime.
4. Prepare and use RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements) for all tasks to ensure safe working practices.
5. Supervise and monitor sub-contractor works on site, ensuring permits and RAMS are adhered to.
6. Keep all critical areas under CBRE's responsibility locked and clean.
7. Understand the business systems, processes, and procedures associated with the site.
8. Ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
9. Highlight gaps in critical spares to the operations manager.
10. Build and develop relationships with all on-site CBRE staff, sub-contractors, and client representatives.
11. Present a professional image of CBRE to clients and sub-contractors.
12. Undertake lone working when required.
13. Participate in EOP/SOP scenario training and undertake technical assessment tests.
14. Complete other tasks as directed by the account management team.
Skills
1. Demonstrate relevant knowledge of UPS, Generators, HV, PDU's, CRAC units, or equivalent, including the ability to fault-find using graphical information and current alarm data.
2. Hold a formal electrical qualification, BS7671 18th edition regulations.
3. Possess excellent IT skills, being competent across Microsoft Office programs.
4. Exhibit good communication etiquette.
5. Show strong organizational abilities, ensuring all documentation is stored and auditable.
6. Experience with a CAFM system is desirable.
7. Be a team player.
8. Able to multitask and prioritize workload.
9. Committed to delivering excellent customer service.
10. Maintain a calm manner and work under pressure, making sound decisions when needed.
11. Be physically fit and able to carry tools and components by hand up to 20kg.
12. Able to work at heights.

1. Liaise with external security teams for clearance/vetting.
2. Obtain a comprehensive understanding of the contract and ensure work is carried out in accordance with the contract scope.
3. Identify and implement innovations across the contract to enhance performance and exceed client expectations.
4. Promote and maintain CBRE work ethics and culture, following the RISE values.
5. Exhibit a high level of trust and integrity while handling confidential information.
6. Obtain full Security Clearance.
7. Participate in the company benefits scheme.
