We are looking for a dynamic and entrepreneurial Account Executive to own our go-to-market activity for global Enterprise financial services customers headquartered in Europe. The primary focus will be on driving revenue growth through sales activities, with a customer-centric mindset that includes parts of Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success. The ideal candidate will exhibit qualities of acquiring and growing a book of customers, owning the entire sales process from pipeline generation to closure, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
In this position you will:
* Manage and expand a territory with a focus on balancing new customer acquisition with nurturing existing accounts.
* Own the entire sales process from beginning to end, including prospecting, lead generation, qualification, value proposition presentation, solution demonstration, negotiation, and closing.
* Outreach to new teams at existing customers to explain the value proposition, demonstrate solutions, and convert prospects into loyal customers.
* Receive guidance and support from leadership but exercise independent thinking and initiative to achieve sales goals.
* Run account forensics to enable a data-driven sales approach that is customized to the individual customer.
* Help customers build and construct business plans that generate successful funding of enterprise license purchases.
* Execute strategic sales plays tailored to specific customer profiles.
* Follow up on leads and inbound requests in your territory and maximize conversion rate of trials (e.g. adjust email sequences and messaging).
* Localize and run marketing campaigns with support from our central team.
* Coordinate and enable post-deal product adoption (e.g. trainings) supported by a central enablement team.
* Monitor customer health to detect and prevent churn.
Your profile
* 3-5+ years of experience in a commercial role (e.g. account management or sales) in a software or tech company, ideally in a startup or growth environment.
* Winning attitude with proven achievement of revenue targets of >$1mm for more than 3 years.
* Experience in navigating complex organizational structures and corporate dynamics of large global customers.
* Excellent virtual communication and presentation skills with the ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
* Self-starter with a can-do attitude and an entrepreneurial mindset.
* Appreciation of our product – willingness to understand think-cell’s product and value is a must (don’t worry, it’s very intuitive), experience with think-cell a plus.
* Willingness to work on-site in London, minimum of 3 days/week.
* Understanding of common GTM tools (e.g. Salesforce.com, Outreach.io) and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Experience working with financial services customers is a plus.
* Fluent in English is a must (German is nice to have), fluency in additional European languages is a plus.
