Main Purpose - Power and Access Sales Specialists:
The main purpose of this role is to promote and sell the Power Product and Access range of equipment and aftermarket packages within the Dealership territory to new and existing customers. This is a customer-facing role which requires you to build strong customer relationships within the Construction sales industry of the business. You will need to promote and present solutions to both existing & new customers and frequently liaise with the Manufacturer to ensure you provide a world-class service to the customer.
Main Responsibilities - Power and Access Sales Specialists:
1. Build strong and positive relationships with customers (and on occasion face to face).
2. Build and document knowledge about the customer business on an as and when basis.
3. Prepare customer quotations for Power and Access customer sales via the software system and Salesforce iPad Application and include additional options for:
* Service / R & M Contract
* Attachments suitable to the application & machine
* Finance
* Insurance
1. Carry out full valuations on any Power and Access Part Exchanges.
2. Complete the full machine specification and attachments to meet the customer requirements on all orders, including all relevant customer information.
3. Carry out full machine demonstrations and installations on customer site.
4. Increase the company’s Power and Access sales and profitability in line with objectives.
5. Responsible for the monitoring of customer account facility status and collection of payments.
6. Establish and maintain good levels of communication within and outside the business.
7. Complete all administration accurately and in a timely manner.
8. Contribute to the overall success of the business through teamwork and good communication within the company.
Work experience requirements - Power and Access Sales Specialists:
Essential:
1. Excellent commercial awareness and customer problem solving.
2. Ability to follow your customer’s buying decisions and needs.
3. Proven track record of customer sales call planning and forecasting.
4. Skilled in sales questioning for successful outcomes.
5. Proven track record of consultative selling techniques.
Desirable:
1. Proven track record of sales within the Construction sector or similar industry.
