We're recruiting now for a Financial Reporting Advisor. Key Duties & Responsibilities In the role you will: • Support with the preparation of group financial statements, including those for listed companies, with good attention to detail and ability to have a hands-on approach to this, with some project management considerations. • Help clients with audit support projects, such as technical paper writing and accounting for complex areas such as financial instruments and share based payment charges • Be part of key project delivery teams, on areas such as Initial Public Offerings and IFRS conversions • Support with financial reporting valuation work, including share option valuations and purchase price allocations. Examples include background research, performing basic areas of valuation or derivation of inputs, and initial report writing. Person Specifications We’re looking for an individual with the following skills and experience: • Experience of accounting practices, gained through audit or accounts work. • Some experience of project management. • Part or newly qualified. • A team-worker who is prepared to pitch in to do what is needed to support the rest of the team where necessary. • An inquisitive problem solver who doesn’t shy away from a challenge and is happy to apply thought and research to a client’s problem. • Ability to convey complex matters in an easy to understand way. • Has an appreciation of market forces and what drives value in a business, and is able to apply this to a client’s circumstances.
