We are currently seeking a Portfolio and Planning Administrator to provide operational support to the Portfolio and Planning Unit in facilitating the development and monitoring of the Universitys academic portfolio.
About the RoleAs our Portfolio and Planning Administrator, youwill be based within the universitys Portfolio and Planning Team, working on development projects across the University relating to academic portfolio, curriculum and access and participation.
The role involves providing guidance on programme procedures, maintaining registers and timelines, and supporting the implementation of a Curriculum Management System. You will collaborate closely with the P&P team, professional services, and academic staff to ensure smooth operations and adherence to deadlines.
Responsibilities include tracking project progress, reporting on outcomes, and aligning processes across departments. The role also involves attending meetings, taking minutes, and performing other relevant duties as needed.
About YouYou will have a degree or equivalent professional experience, along with excellent IT skills (MS Word and Excel) and proven experience in preparing project documentation. Strong interpersonal, communication, and networking skills are essential, as well as the ability to manage a varied workload with meticulous attention to detail.
You will be able to work both independently and as part of a team, balancing multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining effective relationships across departments. Flexibility in handling a variety of tasks is key.
Additional InformationThere may be occasions where you are expected to work outside of your normal hours for the purpose of attending conferences, public events, etc.
Salary: Grade 4, £26,038 to £28,081
