The Role
The senior buyer will manage procurement activities, ensuring cost-effective sourcing, supplier relationships, and supply chain efficiency. This role covers procurement for materials and key services, representing a significant portion of the company’s revenue. The successful candidate will work closely with customer service, accounts, warehouse, and production teams to maintain stock control and ensure high fulfilment rates.
Key Responsibilities
Source and purchase materials and services at competitive prices while maintaining quality standards.
Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers to negotiate pricing and improve supply chain performance.
Manage stock levels, conduct audits, and ensure accurate inventory records.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve procurement efficiency.
