Westbury CofE Junior school wishes to appoint an inspiring Headteacher with strong values, a clear vision for the school and a passion for learning.Westbury Junior School is a vibrant school set in the West Wiltshire town of Westbury on the Northeastern edge of Salisbury Plain. The town is overlooked by the iconic White Horse and is close to the city of Bath. The school sits in the heart of an established housing estate and our partner infant school is on a neighbouring site. Westbury railway station is an important junction on the network, forming good links with towns and cities further afield.
The school is part of a growing community, with a range of events taking place throughout the year. As a Church of England school, the school works hard to maintain links with All Saints Church which is situated in the heart of the town.

We are seeking an inspirational, dynamic and creative leader to lead us in the next stage of our development. We are a happy, friendly and welcoming school with a highly committed staff and a dedicated governing body.The ideal candidate will be able to evidence recent teaching and learning experience across the primary age range,will be skilled at leading and creating a stimulating environment that allows every child to achieve their potential. The successful candidate will be a sincere and strong team player, working closely with all members of the school staff. The candidate will recognise the importance of maintaining a strong partnership with parents and the local community, including the church.
