Job Title: Junior IT Support Engineer
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Location: Gloucester (4 days a week on site)
Our client is looking for a Junior IT Support Engineer to help keep their business running smoothly by providing first-line support across their IT systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Act as the first point of contact for IT support requests.
* Diagnose and resolve issues with Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and networking.
* Manage hardware provisioning and maintain IT equipment.
* Create and update user documentation.
* Travel to various sites when required (pool vehicle provided).
* Escalate issues to third-party providers when necessary.
Essential Skills:
* Eager to learn and develop new IT skills.
* Organised, motivated, and able to work independently.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Strong problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
* Patient and approachable when working with users of varying technical abilities.
* Full UK driving licence.
Desirable Skills:
1. Experience with help desk applications.
2. Knowledge of M365 administration, Windows & Mobile OS troubleshooting.
3. Basic networking and cloud services knowledge.
