Invenia Group has partnered with a leading global pharmaceutical company to search for a talented NPD Programme Manager. Here, you will play a pivotal role in leading and directing internal programmes and projects to support the organisation’s strategic growth. You will manage cross-functional teams, oversee programme governance, and drive continuous improvement across the Programme Management Office (PMO). This position is key in ensuring efficient programme execution, driving process improvements, and contributing to future NPD pipelines.
Key responsibilities:
* Lead internal programmes, including strategy development, prioritization, trend analysis, and reporting.
* Drive the effective implementation of current processes and improvements to ensure efficiency and resilience within PMO.
* Lead project management for NPD programmes, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
* Oversee programme decisions, including steering and stage gate processes, and communicate project plans to key stakeholders.
* Collaborate with newly acquired entities to integrate responsibilities and build effective working relationships.
* Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders across all levels.
* Work with finance teams to ensure programme financials are aligned with company goals and identify potential challenges.
* Provide coaching, leadership, and support to direct reports and team members.
* Develop and present data visualizations to support portfolio management and decision-making.
* Lead cross-functional teams to identify and review new opportunities, from early concept to target product profile.
What we are looking for:
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with proven success in managing external partnerships, ideally within Pharma, Healthcare, or Medical Device sectors.
* A degree (or equivalent) in a scientific, business, or project management discipline.
* Strong financial acumen, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Project, and PowerBI.
* Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience in driving complex projects.
* Ideally, APM or PMI qualified.
