This role sits within the Early Careers team, supporting the Early Careers Recruiter. Our Early Careers offering at LCP continues to grow and we are looking for an Assistant to help coordinate and promote our opportunities for the fee earning departments in our London and Winchester offices.
Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:
* Administrative support for the recruitment of graduates and summer interns.
* Support covers recruiting to multiple business areas (Pensions Actuarial, Investment Consulting, DC Investment & Governance, Insurance Consulting, Pensions Management Consulting, Energy (LCP Delta), Health Analytics and Digital Services) across multiple early careers programmes (eg internships and graduates) and across our two office main locations (London and Winchester).
* The role will involve ensuring sufficient talent pipeline through:
o Coordinating 3rd party advertising.
o Supporting with the creation of content for the firm’s social media (Instagram and LinkedIn).
o Supporting in the organisation of, and attendance at, university careers fairs and other relevant external recruitment events eg conferences – including university bookings, arranging branded materials, arranging LCP attendees.
o Supporting in the design and organisation of LCP events to showcase LCP’s opportunities, eg insight days – including assisting in preparation of materials.
o Maintenance of LCP’s online and printed grad/intern materials.
o Working with the Early Careers Recruiter to design and update materials.
* Supporting the Early Careers Recruiter to ensure strong relationships with third party providers and ensure efficient and productive use of those platforms to attract early careers talent.
* Assisting the Early Careers Recruiter to deliver the recruitment strategy.
* Assisting with wider firm initiatives relevant to early careers recruitment e.g., diversity lead initiatives, Women’s Talent Academy.
* Coordination of end-to-end early careers assessment process, including:
o Supporting the Early Careers Recruiter in the annual review and ongoing development of the early careers recruitment processes.
o Assisting the Early Careers Recruiter in launching early careers recruitment processes each year using our applicant tracking system.
o Detailed monitoring and maintenance of the applicant tracking system to ensure candidates are progressed and communicated with appropriately.
o Responding to queries from applicants regarding LCP, recruitment processes or the applicant tracking system.
o Monitoring application progress through data analysis.
o Working with various departments across the business to ensure their bespoke early careers recruitment needs are met.
o Organising the logistics for assessment centres and attending assessment centres (Winchester and London), as well as giving feedback to candidates. This involves frequent travel to London during recruitment periods (can be multiple trips a week from September to April).
o Drafting offer letters for assessment centres and early careers job offers.
* Support with graduate requirements for UK Visa and Immigration requests.
* Support in relation to onboarding and early careers training, including communicating with new joiners, and liaising with departments and training department in relation to coordination of early careers training.
* Support with market research and benchmarking including networking at early careers events (typically in London) to support optimal recruitment.
What skills and experience are we looking for?
* Previous experience in early careers recruitment is desirable but not required.
* More importantly, we are looking for someone who is:
o Keen to learn and able to adapt to new processes and systems quickly.
o Organised and able to multi-task across wide ranging duties and prioritise in busy periods.
o Able to work with the existing team to ensure successful management of applications, including providing cover during busy periods.
o Ability to take tasks through to completion seeking approval where needed.
o Good communication skills and confident in working with others within the firm and externally.
o Proactive in proposing ideas and taking work forward.
o Creative and can generate ideas in relation to the use of social media in order to attract talent.
o Competent in Microsoft products including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
