Beehive Recruitment is on the lookout for a Technical Author in the Manchester area. We are working with a specialist manufacturing company in the pharmaceutical capital equipment industry.
About the Role
As a TechnicalAuthor, you will be responsible for producingtechnicaldocuments for both internal teams, and external customers, ensuring clarity, compliance, and alignment with customer requirements. You will support projects across the entire product lifecycle.
This role involves:
Developing and reviewing documents like product specifications, FMEA reports, reliability studies, and qualification test procedures.
Supporting product qualification and validation.
Providingtechnicalassistance for customer installations.
Collaborating with the engineering team, product testing, andtechnicalcustomer support documents.
Develop, organise, and write user guides, manuals, and other technical documentation.
Review and edit documentation for clarity, accuracy, and compliance with industry standards.
Create diagrams, charts, and other visual aids to enhance the understanding of technical content.
Maintain a library of technical documentation and update it as necessary to reflect new developments and changes.
Ensure all documentation is accessible to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Adhere to relevant document standards and regulations ensuring Life Time Quality records and kept up dated.
What We're Looking For
The ideal TechnicalAuthor will have:
3+ years of experience in an Engineering setting.
A solid understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, or environmental testing.
The ability to distil complex customer requirements into clear, actionable documentation.
Strong time management skills for monitoring and reporting progress.
