Role: IVF Counsellor Location: The Lister Fertility Clinic, London Contract Type: Bank We are looking for someone to work as part of our counselling team in our busy IVF clinic providing support, therapeutic and implications counselling to patients undergoing a range of treatments including those considering creating families through donor assisted conception and surrogacy via our Bank. You will deliver a range of counselling implications, therapeutic and support sessions to fertility patients, donors and surrogates before, during and after treatment (through remote working and/or face-to-face sessions, and will audit your work too). The IVF Bank Counsellor will be BACP accredited or accredited by an equivalent counselling or psychotherapy body and have a minimum of two years’ experience. The bank counsellor will be a member of the British Infertility Counselling Association (BICA) or be working towards specialist accreditation with BICA and will have completed the BICA Foundation Course for Fertility Counselling. The bank worker will be required to work within the British Infertility Counselling Association (BICA) guidelines and the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority (HFEA) Code of Practice.
