SEND Teacher - Immediate starts in September across all of West Yorkshire

At Protocol Education we are currently looking for an experienced, resilient, and enthusiastic Teacher to work full time at a well-established SEND school in the North Leeds area.
We require a SEND Teacher at a Good to outstanding setting. The role would be based in a multi-site provision teaching students with varying levels and needs.
About the role:
Our SEND Teachers’ duties can include:
* Planning and delivering adaptable lessons to a wide range of pupils and abilities.
* Establishing a safe and stimulating learning environment.
* Teaching useful strategies that will aid the students in their out-of-school lives.
* Marking effectively to enable progression with students.
* Safeguarding all students and staff.
* Assessment.
* 1-to-1 Intervention.
* Group intervention.
* Whole school work.
The ideal SEND Teacher will have:
* QTS/ECT
* Experience teaching a range of subjects both Primary and Vocational in the UK and be able to manage behaviour.
SEND Teacher experience:
* Build strong relationships.
* Be able to de-escalate behavioural needs safely and calmly.
* Experience teaching in mainstream secondary, SEND, pupil referral units, SEMH schools, SEND specific units.
* Plan, deliver, and mark a minimum of a good lesson.
* Be able to commute easily.
* Excellent behaviour management skills and adapt to the schools or AP's ethos.
* (ADD, ADHD, ODD, CAMHS, Complex Needs, Behaviour Difficulties, Autism or MLD.)
