Job Title: Enforcement Agent Location: Yorkshire Salary: £27,000 per annum (plus uncapped commission) Job Type: Permanent and Self Employed Opportunities Available. The Role: As an Enforcement Agent, you will be responsible for recovering unpaid debts including Council Tax, Non Domestic Rates, Road Traffic PCNs and Court Fines, on behalf of our clients. The role entails visiting debtors, discussing their accounts, and negotiating suitable payment solutions. Your role is vital to ensuring a fair and effective debt resolution. Key Responsibilities: Visiting residential and commercial properties to recover outstanding debt. Negotiating repayment plans or collecting full payments Explaining the purpose of your visit and offering solutions within legal and company guidelines Establishing the debtors financial circumstances, capturing key income and employment information Managing your own case portfolio and adhering to timescales Maintaining detailed records and reporting accurate data Organising and supervising the removal of goods in circumstances where debt cannot be recovered What We’re Looking For: Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills Resilience and ability to handle challenging conversations Self-motivated, with excellent time management and organisation skills Target and results driven Experience in the debt collection or Enforcement industry is desirable. Experience of a target-driven role, lone-working or within the field is also desirable. What We Offer (N.B. Certification – Support with obtaining and renewing your Enforcement Agent Certification.
