Role: A Level English Teacher

Eden Brown are seeking a passionate, dynamic, and dedicated A Level English Teacher on behalf of a leading Further Education College in Lancashire.
This is a temporary role for at least 27 hours per week that will run until the end of the academic year.
As a key member of our English department, you will have the opportunity to teach A Level English Language, English Literature, and/or English Language & Literature, depending on your experience and expertise.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, supporting students' academic progress, and fostering a love for English in all its forms. You will work closely with colleagues to provide a high-quality learning experience and contribute to the continued success of the department.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Delivering engaging A Level English lessons to students, with a focus on student-centred learning
2. Planning and preparing lessons, assessments, and resources
3. Monitoring and supporting students' progress through feedback and individual guidance
4. Supporting students in exam preparation and study skills
Key Requirements:
1. A relevant degree in English, English Literature, or a related field
2. A teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
3. Experience teaching A Level English or relevant qualifications
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
5. Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best
