If so, we have the perfect role for you! We’re currently recruiting a Female Live-In Care Assistant to support a customer in Norwich, Norfolk.
Our customer loves to enjoy her activities including visiting and volunteering at a local farm along with watching movies. Having a strong professional bond with her care team is important to her and ensuring she feels comfortable to allow care to be carried out.
Role Overview: This position operates on a 2-weeks-living in the package and 2-weeks off basis, with the option to take on additional work within our other services, including domiciliary care or supported living, during your off weeks if you wish to maximise your earnings.
Key Responsibilities:
* Personal Care and Nutritional Support: You will assist with personal care and nutritional needs throughout the day, ensuring the customer’s well-being.
* Supporting Independence: The individual in your care is active and makes her own choices and decisions, including attending day centres.
* Work Schedule: You will work two weeks out of every four, with the possibility of providing holiday and sickness cover.
* Domestic Support: Your role will include completing domestic tasks such as cleaning, cooking and general housekeeping.
* Driving Requirement: A valid UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential, as you may need to transport the customer.
Essential Skills & Characteristics:
* Positive Attitude and Communication Skills: A positive outlook and effective communication are highly valued.
* Motivation to Make a Difference: Be driven by the opportunity to make a meaningful impact and show respect towards others.
* Good Time Management: Effective time management is crucial in this role.
* Minimum of Six Months’ Care Experience: You should have at least six months of experience in a community or care home setting.
