We are looking for a Clinical Administrator to join our Clinical Coordination Centre (CCC) team. We are here for anyone in our community who's facing a life-limiting illness. Using our full breadth of service, we create individual care journeys, which start at diagnosis and continue with bereavement support for family, carers and children. CLINICAL ADMINISISTRATOR - Band 3 £24,071 - £25,674 per annum As an Administrator, you will provide full administrative, secretarial, and coordination support to our Clinical Coordination Centre. You will play a key role in managing patient records, handling sensitive referrals, supporting communication between teams, and ensuring efficient administrative operations across the hospice's clinical services. Maintain and update patient databases (Access and SystmOne), ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Process and record referrals, monitor NHS and departmental email accounts, and produce weekly reports. Provide compassionate telephone support to patients and families, offering guidance and signposting as needed. Coordinate communications between clinical teams, handling messages efficiently. Assist with data collection, reporting, and the creation of spreadsheets to monitor service performance. Prepare and type letters, reports, and other documentation as required. Liaise with medical secretaries and primary healthcare teams to obtain necessary clinical information. HOURS OF WORK This is a Full Time position working 37.5 hours. The role will be based at our office in Winsley, with hybrid working through approval. ABOUT YOU Essential requirements: Good standard of maths and English. A caring individual who is compassionate about providing care and support to vulnerable people. Excellent computer skills and experience of using Microsoft packages, including Word, PowerPoint, e-mail and internet. Able to use own initiative, prioritise and be proactive. Able to deal with sensitive and confidential issues, and understands the importance of confidentiality and information governance. Desirable requirements Experience of working in a health/social care environment.
