We are looking for a dynamic professional to join our team as a Technical Sales Executive. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and seizing opportunities for new customer acquisition within the construction industry. You will have excellent industry knowledge and extensive experience within this sector, leveraging your expertise and strategic vision to identify new business opportunities, forge key partnerships, and drive revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
1. Contact prospective clients, sell to various stakeholders, and win new business.
2. Generate and manage different types of leads.
3. Develop and execute innovative sales strategies to expand the customer base.
4. Attend meetings and networking events regularly (UK wide travel required).
5. Generate leads and prospect customers based on your sector/industry experience.
6. Create, implement, and manage an organized and efficient sales process.
7. Deliver high-quality service to increase business growth and customer satisfaction.
8. Develop and implement sales strategies to meet revenue and growth targets.
9. Identify new business opportunities and expand market reach.
10. Lead negotiations and contract discussions with key clients.
11. Key Account Management:
12. Represent the business at networking events and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
13. Understand clients' needs to provide tailored solutions.
14. Work alongside the National Accounts Manager as the main contact for key accounts, addressing inquiries promptly.
15. Customer Care:
16. Ensure high customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem resolution.
17. Engage proactively with customers for feedback and improvements.
18. Collaborate with teams to enhance overall customer experience.
19. Product Expertise:
20. Deep understanding of product features, benefits, and applications, including soil modification techniques and environmental benefits.
21. Market Development:
22. Explore new market segments beyond traditional construction, including niche markets like tunnelling.
23. Understand current market dynamics and differentiate our client from competitors.
24. Technical Support:
25. Provide technical guidance on SoilDri's application methods, recommendations, and performance expectations, including on-site demonstrations and training.
26. Sustainability Focus:
27. Promote sustainable construction practices and eco-friendly solutions, educating clients on environmental impacts.
28. Innovation Integration:
29. Leverage digital tools and innovative strategies to streamline sales and enhance engagement.
30. Continuous Learning:
31. Participate in industry conferences, workshops, and training to stay current with trends and best practices.
Skills / Qualifications Required:
1. Minimum of 5 years of sales management experience in the construction sector, with proven success.
