Street Lighting Team Leader required to support leading local council in Edinburgh
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Street Lighting Team Leader to join a leading local authority based just outside Edinburgh city centre.
This role sits within the Road Operations and Networks team, overseeing the service delivery of lighting operations and capital expenditure projects.
This will range from overseeing electrical works carried out by the council, to planning an executing long term plans. These would include street lighting, LED upgrades, signals, information signs and CCTV.
The ideal candidate will come from an electrical background such as an electrical supervisor or company director. A HNC or equivalent within the electrical field is required.
You must also have a firm grasp on basic IT. A full UK driving licence is required and ability to work outdoors in various locations and terrain. You will have a good understanding of lighting in a local authority context, customer communication, project management and be able to deliver excellent customer service.
