Medical Reports/Enquiry Desk Clerk
30 hours, Monday to Friday during core hours of 09.00 to 15.00.
We are looking for an enthusiastic person with previous clerical experience to work within Medical Reports and the Enquiry Department at HRI.
The successful candidate must have good communication skills and be able to work as part of a team, as well as using their own initiative. They should also have the ability to organise and prioritise their workload.
Please note: This advertised vacancy does not meet the UKVI eligibility requirements for a Skilled Worker Visa, and therefore HUTH would not be able to issue a Certificate of Sponsorship for this role.
Main duties of the job
Duties include:
1. Invoicing
2. Requesting case notes and x-rays
3. Pulling casualty cards
4. Dealing with Solicitors
5. Dealing with the general public
6. Directing patients and relatives to wards and departments
7. Handling telephone enquiries
8. Other clerical duties
9. Some typing and use of Lorenzo
