This role has a starting rate of £11.50 per hour... On successful completion of probation period you will receive an increase to £12 per hour and £50 in "love to Shop" vouchers.
Role & Responsibilities:
* To ensure all of our guests receive a warm welcome and are treated to the utmost hospitality and care during their stay with us – we aim to provide an unforgettable experience.
* Manage event set up and service during the event, liaising with the Events Manager and Operations Manager. Assist in the setup and breakdown of both large and small events, coordinating closely with the Events Manager in accordance with procedures.
* Provide hands-on support during events, ensuring a keen eye for detail in presentation and service. Act as the primary point of contact for guests during events, ensuring seamless communication and service.
* Oversee event stock control, including a monthly inventory of event items such as cutlery, crockery, glassware, stationery, and tablecloths. Ensure function storage areas are maintained to company standards.
* Work with the Food and Beverage Managers & Supervisor to maximise sales performance and achieve sales in line with targets.
* Ensure effective control of stock and staff costs in the Restaurant Managers & Supervisor absence.
* To follow all hotel policies as outlined in your training manual.
* Serve food and drinks quickly and efficiently, meeting our five-star standards.
* Keep up to date with current promotions and new products.
* Make customers aware of offers on our great food and drink range.
* To maintain exemplary billing systems and obtain all payments from customers in accordance with company Policy, and the accurate accounting and processing of all reception sales.
* To observe and comply with cleaning rotas, health and safety, food and hygiene regulations.
* Ensure high standards of financial and reporting diligence in accordance with company policy.
* To ensure good working relationship with all other departments and communicate information throughout the hotel.
* To understand responsibilities in relation to Fire Procedures, Health and Safety, COSHH, Infection Control and Emergency Aid.
* To ensure all complaints are minimised and handled professionally as in accordance with our policies.
* To work in line with company policies and manuals.
* All other duties as required.
