The School wishes to appoint an enthusiastic and committed individual to join the Operational Services team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will work in the School Sergeants Team and will be responsible for providing a porterage and general caretaking service for the School and third-party events. The role will involve setting up and breaking down rooms for various events, locking and unlocking buildings and car parks, undertaking traffic control duties, undertaking minor repairs and maintenance, and ensuring Foundation security. The successful candidate must be of smart appearance, have a helpful and friendly attitude and possess good communication skills as well as the ability to identify work priorities, whilst ensuring that lower priority work is kept up to date. The hours of work will be 15 per week, between Monday and Friday, term time only. The normal hours of attendance are 6.00am until 9.00am. With some 2,500 pupils, Bolton School is a large, thriving, academically selective day school.
