HR Manager

Müller Milk & Ingredients are looking for a proactive, hands on Human Resources Manager to join the progressive Leadership Team at our sites around England and Wales; this role would suit an experienced HR generalist with a background in supporting manufacturing, logistics or corporate functions.
The HRM is responsible for the delivery of all aspects of the employee lifecycle from recruitment and onboarding, performance management through to employee exit. The HRM works effectively within the HR matrix structure and contributes to group HR projects and initiatives.
Key responsibilities:
Maintain a positive working relationship with local trade union representatives to achieve business goals.
Effectively communicate people related initiatives and strategy to the site workforce.
Deliver training for all people managers.
Advise managers on the terms and conditions of employment.
Drive compliance against people KPIs, such as absence and turnover, to track and determine progress in addressing gaps.
Collate and analyse HR data to develop insights; generate reports for business use.
Deliver an engagement and wellbeing agenda and track progress against engagement action plans.
Drive improvement in diversity and inclusion.
Deliver continuous improvement of candidate experience from recruitment through to onboarding. Playing an active role in new starter inductions.
Maintain a positive relationship with areas of expertise within HR team as well as Centres of Excellence; promoting cohesion with the ER team, recruitment and L&D.
Experience & skills :
CIPD qualified
Experience in manufacturing environment would be beneficial
Experience working with Trade Unions would be beneficial
Experience working in business partner/matrix structure
Resilience, great influencing and communication skills
Able to build trust, respect and openness
