We're looking for a Site Operative to join our Telecoms team based in Manchester. Location :Manchester Hours: 45 hours per week What will you be responsible for? As a Site Operative you'll be working within the IMT/Ericsson team, supporting them in ensuring the telecommunication infrastructure is well maintained and repaired as necessary. Your day to day will include: Ensuring the detailed test, inspection and condition surveys of mobile phone mast installations. Carry out inspections of towers, poles and fall arrest systems as well as testing anchor points, earthing, and lightning protection systems. Producing reports and undertaking minor remedial tasks, along with ensuring that all work is undertaken in a safe and proper manner. Liaising with a number of stakeholders, including but not limited to site providers, client staff and helpdesk administration. Attending internal and external review meetings, ensure PUWER, vehicle, calibration and training records are maintained, and to assist in the mentoring and development of site operatives.
