Cover Supervisor/ HLTA Cardiff Prospero teaching are working with a Welsh medium secondary School in Cardiff. Your role is to build a connection with the young people and act and a mentor and role model for the students as well as leading classes and organising tasks throughout the day. You must have a strong cover supervisor, TA or Tutoring background with students. The role will see you using lots of mentoring skills (similar to that used in sports, drama, counselling) to help the individual engage with the school. You will support the pupil in the classroom and out of the classroom on a more vocational basis. The position is open to all experienced and those who have a strong background in mentoring children and young adults. Depending on performance, the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position.
