We are seeking a Business Development Executive to join our Public Sector Sales team.
We are looking for someone to proactively contact potential customers to identify new business opportunities within the education sector.
This role is primarily to establish this and increase the number of active customers through B2B business development & prospecting of leads.
This role would suit someone not afraid of calling a high volume of customers throughout the day!
Key tasks will involve:
· Identify potential customers and make contact.
· Promote Stone’s products and services in order to obtain appointments.
· Arrange and diarise quality appointments for Business Development Managers (BDMs)
· Obtain and record comprehensive information on the customer and their requirements for the BDM
· Qualify customer requirements ahead of the BDMs meetings.
· Share ideas and experiences with team, contribute to team improvements.
· Deal with complaints swiftly. Correct recording and escalation.
The suitable candidate will have GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English, experience of cold calling businesses with proven success rate, experience of planning an effective schedule of meetings a ‘Can do’, proactive and flexible approach and a high standard of spoken and written communication.
It is also desired but not essential to have an NVQ Business and Communication, NVQ in Customer Service or NVQ in Telesales, have knowledge of the public sector, knowledge of services and reports and experience of working in or with government or NHS sales.

This is a full time position - 37 hours per week
