You'll be working within a multi-functional Payments Team with a specialisation in Adult Care Services (ACS) invoice &direct payments. This dynamic team processes payment transactions and resolves all payment queries relating to these transactions. The team liaises with a range of stakeholders including, but not limited to, ACS Brokerage; ACS Commissioning; ACS Social Workers, and Hertfordshire residents. You will process invoices and Direct Payments, or query where appropriate, in a timely manner for a range of suppliers using ContrOCC & SAP You will liaise and work closely with colleagues across Adult Care Services to assist in the delivery of an efficient and effective financial service dealing with payments and non-residential charging You will respond in a business-like and customer focussed manner to queries from the public, care providers and other stakeholders in relation to care payments and charging You will support the accurate and timely processing and recording of financial data and maintenance of financial records. This is to assist in the production of forecast figures within the Finance Business Partner for ACS team. Essential: Computer literate in particular experience in using Microsoft Office Strong verbal & written communication skills Proven time management and organisational skills Attention to detail & methodical approach to tasks Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines Desirable: AAT or equivalent qualification Experience in accounts payable Interview Date: week commencing 10th February 2025
