The Job We are looking to recruit an experienced Network Cabling Engineer to install and maintain door access control & CCTV systems. Our client offers networking solutions for telecoms/data, IP, CCTV and Door Access Control systems. This role will involve installing and maintaining door access control and CCTV systems, voice & data networks including fibre optics and other associated networking equipment. Main Responsibilites: Install door access control systems in a wide range of venues including public buildings and schools Install IP CCTV Systems Install copper and fibre optic cabling for voice and data networks and associated equipment Carry out cable routing, installation, termination, testing, patching and repairs Liaise with other engineers and customers to ensure cabling networks and associated equipment are installed in accordance with our cabling and Company procedures Comply with prevailing Health and Safety legislation, Company and Customer site specific instructions Skills and Experience Required Experience of electronic door entry system installation Paxton is desirable Experience of installing IP CCTV systems Full, clean Driving Licence Confident in the use of power and hand tools (drills, screwdrivers etc.) Capable of working on ladders, scaffold and Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWP) Good communicator both verbally and in writing Able to work both independently and as part of a team Able to work effectively and efficiently under pressure, paying good attention to detail at all times Self-motivated, with the ability to take initiative and self-manage workload without supervision Flexible, keen, and willing to learn DBS Check will be carried out if a current DBS is not in place Data cabling and fibre optic installation is desirable CSCS Card would be advantageous ADZN1_UKTJ
