We are looking for an enthusiastic practice nurse to join our team. The post holder will provide assessment, treatment, screening, health education, and advice to patients. Training will be provided where required. Ideally, an interest in respiratory would be preferred.
Main duties of the job
The role includes long-term condition reviews (Diabetes, COPD, Asthma), wound care, cervical screening, contraception, travel, and child immunisations.

Hillview Medical Centre is located on the outskirts of the town centre with a list size of 10,500 patients. We have 4 GP partners and 5 salaried GPs, two practice nurses, 1 HCA, 1 phlebotomist, and 2 clinical pharmacists.
Job responsibilities
1. Minor and complex wound care / ulcer care
2. Compression dressings
3. ECGs
4. Removal of sutures
5. Cervical smears
6. Chronic disease management
7. To document the process of assessment, need, and delivery of care
8. To adhere to the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and Scope of Professional Practice following national, local, and practice guidelines
9. To comply with the Data Protection Act and maintain confidentiality at all times
10. To adhere to practice policies for record keeping

Qualifications
* Professional registration
* Minimum of 2 years recent post-registration working as part of a multi-professional team
* Knowledge and experience of practice nursing in primary care
* Experience of EMIS Web clinical system
* Experience of online consultation systems
* Awareness of GP contract requirements
