Quality Assurance Officer

35 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
GBP35k-GBP45k dependent on experience
Pearson Whiffin Recruitment is delighted to be exclusively representing a leading organisation based in Ashford, in their search for an experienced Quality Assurance Officer.
This role requires a compliance professional with a meticulous attention to detail and a calm, confident methodical approach.
Working as part of a small team, key duties include:
* Carrying out internal audits, ensuring adherence to relevant standards (ISO 17024)
* Regularly reviewing audit reports and communicating amendments to internal and external stakeholders
* Investigation of and reporting on non-conformities
* Extensive collation and analysis of data
* Providing and preparing reports, presentations and recommendations to the wider team
* Process mapping
* Delivering training
* Supporting stakeholders both internal and external by offering guidance and advice where appropriate
* Accurate document control including drafting, reviewing, storage and distribution
* Any other duties as required
To be considered, you will have:
* A proven track record working in an analytical quality role
* Knowledge of quality management systems and processes
* Carried out process mapping in a previous role
* A meticulous attention to detail
* An excellent grasp of the English language, both written and verbal
* The ability to use Excel to analyse data and present findings clearly
* Good personal presentation skills
* Experience delivering training
* Managed projects previously
* Some experience of risk assessments
* A cool, calm, methodical approach, even under pressure
* Worked with external agencies, membership organisations or professional bodies, ensuring compliance with regulations, specifications or standards
* Demonstrable experience in the management and implementation of quality management systems.
The BEST candidates will have:
* Experience of the following quality management systems: ISO 17024; ISO 17021; ISO 9001
* A professional auditor qualification/certification
* Worked within a manufacturing, engineering or pharmaceutical discipline
