With operations across the globe and an ever-expanding customer base, this prestigious manufacturer is looking for a Finance Controller to lead within the finance team. Role & Responsibilities:
* Maintain the integrity of plant production costing and ensure management receives clear and accurate data for strategic decisions.
* Execute tasks related to current cost rates, inventory valuation, and timely resolution of errors.
* Prepare relevant costing information and analyses for operational management.
* Maintain production cost controlling processes at the SKU level, including production orders by all components.
* Monitor operations KPI controlling frequently, comparing actual performance to standards.
* Control and update Bills of Materials and Master data to ensure accurate costs, reviewing discrepancies meticulously.
* Prepare pre- and post-calculation analysis with recommendations for improvement.
* Update standard costs and monitor inventory levels, including stocktaking.
* Regularly report defined operational key figures and develop related measurement systems.
* Develop decision-making bases and improve existing analytical tools and systems.
* Assist with financial month-end closing activities, including inventory valuation and management information systems.
* Analyse monthly results with a focus on cost drivers.
* Support the commercial/pricing team with accurate costing.
* Collaborate closely with the local operations manager to provide transparent analysis and improvement areas.
* Support new product development and optimisations in costing areas.
* Assist with the annual budgeting process and forecasts.
* Ensure controls according to the internal control system and Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
* SAP preferred or experience with other manufacturing ERP systems.
* Advanced Excel skills.
* Strong knowledge of CO (Product Cost Controlling) and MM modules in SAP.
* Knowledge of production costing, including cost elements and cost center accounting.
* Result-oriented and action-minded with a hands-on mentality.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
